Walk-in Investor

The receptionist informs to AE.

AE collects the information and acquires any query from the investor.

AE invites the relevant officer to provide the information (e.g.BOI Officer).

BOI officer / AE coordinates with other agencies to acquire detailed information and reply to the investor and also provide officer’s contact information/or make an appointment for the investor to meet the officer in-charge at the office.

AE inquires the investor to do satisfaction survey of OSOS service.

Visa

Q: To apply for extension of Non-immigrant Visa “O” (In case of BOI) – a visa for an applicant who wishes to accompany a spouse or family members working in Thailand in a business supported by the Board of Investment of Thailand (BOI), what are required documents for the application?
A: The following documents are required for the application for extension of Non-immigrant Visa “O” (BOI).
  • An application for Extension of Temporary Stay in the Kingdom (TM.7) and a photograph size 4x6 cm. (taken within the last 6 months) To download TM.7, please access this link: http://www.immigration.go.th/nov2004/download/pdf/tm7.pdf
  • An application for Re-entry Permit into the Kingdom (TM.8) and a photograph size 4x6 cm. (taken within the last 6 months) To download TM.8, please access this link: http://www.immigration.go.th/nov2004/download/pdf/tm8.pdf
  • The original and a copy of the applicant’s passport
  • The original and copies of the passport and work permit of applicant’s family members who work in Thailand
  • An approval letter from the Board of Investment (BOI)

Other documents submitted previously for the first application of Non-Immigrant Visa “O”, such as, Certificate of Marriage, Birth Certificate, Confirmation letter from company are not required to re-submit.
