Application for Inbound Exchange Students

 

             The online application form is appropriate for international students who will enroll as an exchange student and take courses that earn academic credit, and for international students who have arranged wish to take short-term courses or participate in internship, trainings programs, or engage in research projects at Kasetsart UniversityStudents must complete and submit the online application form with the required documents. The application review process normally takes about 4 weeks.


          The International Affair Divisions (IAD) oversees the application process. If your application is accepted, IAD will issue an acceptance letter and a letter certifying your acceptanceThese documents are needed to facilitate your visa application process (Thailand Education ED-Visa) and for registration at KUBe sure to keep the documents in a safe, secure place.

On 14 June 2024, at 2.00 p.m., in meeting room no. 9, on the 2nd Floor of the Golden Jubilee Administration and Information Center Building, Kasetsart University Bangkhen Campus. Dr. Chongrak Wachrinrat, President of Kasetsart University was honored to be the chairman of the welcoming remarks for the academic meeting between Kasetsart University (KU) and Ubon Ratchathani University (UBU), along with administrators and lecturers, namely Assistant Professor Dr. Tanin Kongsila, Vice President for the University Council Affairs and Human Resource Development; Associate Professor Dr. Chamaipak Maiklad, Assistant to the President for International Affairs; Assistant Professor Dr. Thongrob Ruenbanthoeng, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities, and lecturers at KU, welcomed in the discussion about academic collaboration between Kasetsart University and Ubon Ratchathani University with Associate Professor Dr. Chutinun Prasithpuriprecha, President of Ubon Ratchathani University (UBU), and a team of five executives from Ubon Ratchathani University (UBU) on an official visit to Kasetsart University.

Before starting the academic discussion, both parties exchanged broad information. Associate Professor Dr. Chutinun Prasithpuriprecha, President of Ubon Ratchathani University provided information that Ubon Ratchathani University was founded in 1988, located in Warin Chamrap District, Ubon Ratchathani Province. The university excels in both teaching and research in fields such as Science and Technology, Agriculture, Biomedical Sciences, Anthropology, Fine Arts, Education, and Social Sciences. Currently, Ubon Ratchathani University has over 17,500 students and more than 1,600 staff members. The university offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs across 11 faculties: Faculty of Agriculture, Faculty of Science, Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Applied Arts and Architecture, Faculty of Pharmacy, Faculty of Nursing, College of Medicine and Public Health, Faculty of Liberal Arts, Faculty of Management Science, Faculty of Law, and Faculty of Political Science.

Associate Professor Dr. Chutinun Prasithpuriprecha, President of Ubon Ratchathani University expressed interest in establishing academic cooperation with Kasetsart University through the exchange of information, ideas, recommendations, and terms and conditions, and learning commitments with the Confucius Institute at Kasetsart University. This collaboration aims to prepare for becoming a partner with the Confucius Institute in the areas of Chinese language teaching and access to funding sources to support Chinese language studies, leveraging the knowledge and direct experience from Kasetsart University. Towards the end of the discussion, the executives and faculty members of Kasetsart University agreed to support Ubon Ratchathani University in various academic activities mentioned above, including Chinese language teaching and access to funding. Finally, Dr. Chongrak Wachrinrat, President of Kasetsart University, presented a souvenir to Associate Professor Dr. Chutinun Prasithpuriprecha, President of Ubon Ratchathani University, and invited all delegations participated in a group photo session.
