Message from the Director
Kasetsart University was officially established on February 2,1943 as the first university in Thailand that offers degree courses in agriculture, forestry, fisheries, and co-operatives. The university celebrated its 72nd anniversary in 2015 with its continued growth and expansion to meet national development demands in such areas as agriculture, science and technology, social science, and humanities, as evidenced by its 29 faculties and one college on four campuses, plus research centers, fieldwork stations and veterinary teaching hospitals countrywide. For the international recognition, Kasetsart University has been ranked the first in ASEAN, the fourth in Asia and the 39th in the world in the field of agriculture and forestry with the QS World University Ranking by Subject 2015.
