and Information Center Building, Kasetsart University Bangkhen Campus, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chamaipak Maiklad, Assistant to the President
for International Affairs along with KU administrations and lecturers, namely Assoc.
Prof. Dr. Napasri Timyam, Associate Dean for International Affairs, Faculty of
Humanities; Asst. Prof. Dr. Kewalee Petcharatip, Deputy Dean
for International Affairs, Faculty of Humanities; Dr.
Nathakarn Thaveewatanaseth, Thai Director of the Confucius Institute at
Kasetsart University; Assoc. Prof. Gao Huimin, Chinese
Director of the Confucius Institute at Kasetsart University; Mr.
Piyajit Pratipasen, Educator from Kasetsart University International College
(KUIC); Mrs. Hathaitus Semchuchot, Acting Director of International Affairs
Division; representatives from the Faculty of Humanities; and IAD
representatives welcomed delegates from the Hubei Overseas Friendship
Association on the occasion of paying a courtesy call to Assoc. Prof. Dr.
Chamaipak Maiklad as well as visiting the Confucius Institute at Kasetsart
University.
Hubei Overseas Friendship Association is an organization with
the primary mission of fostering relationships between Hubei Province, China,
and various countries around the world. Hubei Province is
home to over 92 universities. After watching the introductory video about KU,
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chamaipak Maiklad warmly welcomed the delegation. Then,
participants from both sides introduced themselves.
One of the representatives
praised KU as a well-known university in Thailand, mentioning that many Chinese
students are interested in coming for exchange studies. They also invited
everyone to visit Wuhan, the capital city of Hubei Province, known for its beautiful
friendship culture and diverse cuisine. At the end of the courtesy call, all
participants took a group photo before proceeding to visit the Confucius
Institute at Kasetsart University.
