On 15th December 2023 at 09.30 a.m., in the Thira Sutabutra Conference Room and Meeting 6 Room, 2nd floor of the Golden Jubilee Administration and Information Center Building at Kasetsart University, the French Embassy in collaboration with Kasetsart University co-organized a lecture on “Studies in France and Scholarships & Fellowship and Mobility Programs” (Campus France Tour 2023). The aforementioned lecture is a collaboration between Kasetsart University and Campus France Thailand which is held annually. This lecture started with a warm welcome speech of Associate Professor Dr. Chamaipak Maiklad, Assistant to the President for International Affairs, who presided over the opening ceremony for welcoming the delegates from Campus France Thailand, French Embassy and Alliance Française Bangkok, by 1. Ms. Sujira Panyawattana - Student Advisor, Campus France Thailand, French Embassy 2. Mr. Johan Broc - Cooperation Officer for Science and Higher Education, French Embassy 3. Ms. Wanpen Sirapat - Scholarship and Budget Coordinator, French Embassy 4. Ms. Jutaporn Kanjanakuha - Assistant to Attache for Sciencetific and Higher Education Cooperation, French Embassy and 5. Mr. Sylvain Bano - Director, Alliance Française de Bangkok on the occasion of visiting Kasetsart University to promote the studies in France and scholarships for foreign students.
A lecture on “Studies in France and Scholarships & Fellowship and Mobility Programs” (Campus France Tour 2023) consisted of 2 sessions which were “Studies in France and Scholarships” and “Fellowship and Mobility Programs”. This lecture’s objective was to advice about studies in France, the advantages of studying in France, France's higher education system, processes of scholarship application. Several lecturers and students from different faculties of Kasetsart University showed great interest and attended this lecture. Moreover, a former Franco-Thai Scholarship Program doctoral degree student shared his experience with all attendees on studying in France since the beginning of the application to the study, work, and impression gained from the experience. At the end of the lecture, there was a Q&A session for all attendees to ask further questions about the contents. Overall, this lecture was successful and all attendees received useful information for consideration of studying in France.
