On September 25, 2023, Mr. Iain Bitran, Executive
Director of the International Society for Professional Innovation Management
(ISPIM) had a meeting with administrative and faculty members of Kasetsart
University, namely Associate Professor Sutkhet Nakasathien, Ph.D., Vice
President for Research and Creation, Associate Professor Chatchawal Wongchoosuk,
Ph.D., Assistant to the President for Research and Creation, Assistant
Professor Krit Won-in, Ph.D., Assistant to the President for Innovation and
Social Engagement, Assistant Professor Yodmanee Tepanon, Ph.D., Associate Dean
for Standard Development and International Strategy, Faculty of Business
Administration, Assistant Professor Aracha Krasae-in, Ph.D., Assistant Dean for
International Affairs, Faculty of Architecture, Assistant Professor Ajchara
Kessuvan, Ph.D., Department of Agro-Industrial Technology, Faculty of
Agro-Industry, and Dr. Pongsakorn Pitchayadol, Department of Agro-Industrial
Technology, Faculty of Agro-Industry. They
discussed some possible ways, especially organizing international conferences,
to enhance visibility of Kasetsart University and more connections with diverse
group of people or stakeholders from around the world with an interest in
innovation management. Kasetsart
University, a leading Thai university with a reputation in higher education and
research excellence, could provide financial support and in-kind contributions,
including resource persons, academic services, etc., for ISPIM to jointly conduct
conference activities such as panel discussions, workshops, local innovation
showcases and tours, on the green technology innovations or other themes that
are of most interest to Kasetsart University and the global community.
