On 31 March 2025, at
03:30 p.m., in the Meeting Room 10, 10th
Floor, the Golden Jubilee Administration and Information Center Building,
Kasetsart University, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Narongrit Muangmai, Assistant to the
President for Research and Internationalization, along with KU administrators,
namely Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chanate Malumpong, Vice Dean for
Research, Academic Services, and International Affairs, Faculty of Agriculture
at Kamphaeng Saen; Asst. Prof. Dr. Wandee Kasemsukpipat, Vice
Dean for International Affairs, Faculty of Education; Asst. Prof. Dr. Sasitorn Tongchitpakdee, Vice Dean for Special Affairs, Faculty
of Agro-Industry; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Donludee Jaisut, Associate
Dean for International Relations, Faculty of Agriculture; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sangsan
Phumsathan, Deputy Head of the Department of Conservation, Faculty of Forestry;
and IAD representatives welcomed and discussed with Dr. Yung–Ping, Vice President
of National Chi Nan University (NCNU), Taiwan.
After both institutions shared an overview—including
information about campuses, academic programs, and campus facilities—both parties
agreed to begin by signing an MoU as a first step before launching
collaborative initiatives, such as student and staff exchange programs. Additionally, Dr. Yung-Ping proposed further discussions on
potential projects at NCNU, to which Assoc. Prof. Dr. Narongrit Muangmai
agreed, noting that it would be a valuable opportunity for relevant KU
executives to visit NCNU for in-depth collaboration planning.
Additionally, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sangsan Phumsathan presented
research on edible bird’s nest products from the KU Learning and Technology
Transfer Center, which garnered significant interest. After
the discussion, all participants took a group photo.
