Quality Education Center; Prof. LI Bei, Deputy Director of Office of International

Facilities and Maintenance Management; and Prof. TIAN Jianjun, Associate Dean
of Institute for Advanced Material and Technology.
USTB is one of the leading
universities renowned for its strengths in engineering and science, ranked 430th in the world according to the QS World University Rankings
2025. Following the visit of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sathaporn
Chuepeng and his team to USTB 2 years ago, KU and USTB have initiated a range
of collaborations, including student and staff exchange programs, dual degree
programs, and joint research projects, particularly in cooperation with
Kasetsart University’s Sriracha Campus. USTB executives stated that, although
the university is well known for its engineering disciplines, it is also open
to initiating collaborations in the field of social sciences, such as music and
humanities.
In addition, the discussion covered
potential collaboration on several key topics, including the development of railway
transport to China, cooperation on agricultural products, cultural exchange,
and marine mineral exploration. Following the meeting,
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Narongrit Muangmai presented a souvenir to Prof. SUN Jinghong,
and all participants took group photos.
