On 20 September 2023 at 1:30 p.m., in the IAD meeting room, 10th floor, the Golden Jubilee Administration and Information Center Building, Kasetsart University, Associate Professor Dr. Kampanat Pensupar, Vice President for International Affairs along with Associate Professor Dr. Chamaipak Maiklad, Assistant to the President for International Affairs; Miss Prattana Thirakiettikun, Head of the International Collaboration and Networking Section; and personnel of the International Affairs Division welcomed the official visit to Kasetsart University of Professor Kou Ikejima, Vice President for Education, Kochi University, Japan, to discuss preparations for welcoming Dr. Katsutoshi Sakurai, President of Kochi University, Japan, and his team who will come to visit Kasetsart University and meet with Dr. Chongrak Wachrinrat, President of Kasetsart University on 4 October 2023.

On this occasion, Associate Professor Dr. Kampanat Pensupar, Vice President for International Affairs welcomed and said that Kasetsart University is committed to working closely with Kochi University to develop activities that are mutually beneficial and thank you for continuing collaboration, and for visiting KU today. Professor Kou Ikejima, Vice President for Education, wishes to continue academic cooperation in many faculties and various fields of study, such as expanding cooperation with the Faculty of Agriculture, Forestry, Fisheries, Science, Medicine, Humanities, Education, etc.

In summary, the meeting discussed preparations to welcome the President of Kochi University and the visit of the Faculty of Fisheries and Faculty of Forestry, Meeting alumni of Kochi University, etc., and discussing the start of cooperation and various activities together, such as summer camps for students, a one-semester scholarship program for ASEAN +6 students on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of Kasetsart University (KU OSSPAS), Double Degree Program, Credit transfer for students,  Visiting Professors, International Bilateral Academic Conference, online learning courses, also invite to visit Kamphaeng Saen Agricultural Fair 2023, etc.
