On 8 September 2023, from 10.00 a.m. to 12.00 a.m., at Thira Sutabutr Meeting Room on the 2nd floor of the Golden Jubilee Administration and Information Center Building. Associate Professor Dr. Chamaipak Maiklad, Assistant to the President for International Affairs, and Assistant Professor Dr. Nadhawee Bunnag. Deputy Dean for Foreign Relations and Special Affairs, Faculty of Social Sciences; Assistant Professor Dr. Pailin Kittisereechai, Assistant Dean for Foreign Relations and Special Affairs, and lecturer of the Department of International Relations, Faculty of Social Sciences; students from the KU Student Administrative Board or KUSAB; students from the KU Student Council or KUSC; and personnel of the International Affairs Division, joined together to welcome 49 delegations of a lecturer and students from Hue University International School (HUIS), Vietnam, on the occasion of visiting Kasetsart University to listen to a lecture on some key contents of International Relations and exchange knowledge in arts and culture between students of both universities.

Associate Professor Dr. Chamaipak Maiklad, Assistant to the President for International Affairs gave welcome remarks and provided information about Kasetsart University in a broad picture and led to a video presentation introducing Kasetsart University and also mentioned the outstanding academic cooperation between Kasetsart University and Hue University International School (HUIS), Vietnam. Then, Dr. Vo Thi Kim Thao, lecturer of HUIS and Head of HUIS delegation, at Hue University International School (HUIS), expressed her gratitude for the warm welcome and pleasure to visit Kasetsart University this time. The purpose is to strengthen relations and look for synergies between the two universities today under a Memorandum of Understanding for cooperation with Kasetsart University. Dr. Vo Thi Kim Thao gave a brief overview of Hue University and hopes to strengthen and continue closer relationships and cooperation in both academic and cultural between the two universities in the future.

Then, Assistant Professor Dr. Pailin Kittisereechai, Assistant Dean for Foreign Relations and Special Affairs, and lecturer of the Department of International Relations, Faculty of Social Sciences gave a lecture on important contents of international relations to HUIS students and Kasetsart University students on the topic of “Power in International Relations”, which generated great interest among HUIS students. After that, there was a presentation of students from the Kasetsart University Student Administrative Board, or KUSAB, and a presentation of the students from the Kasetsart University Student Council, or KUSC, about their organizational structures and current activities in 2023, a presentation of university overview by Hue University students; followed by the special finale were Thai cultural performances by Kasetsart University students and music performance & games by students from Hue University International School (HUIS), Vietnam. The visit ended in a very good impression from both sides and a strong relationship between each other.
