On 25 August 2023 at 10:00 a.m., at Kampol Adulwit Conference Room on the 2nd floor of the Golden Jubilee Administration and Information Center Building. Associate Professor Dr. Chamaipak Maiklad, Assistant to the President for International Affairs (in place of Dr. Chongrak Wachrinrat, President of Kasetsart University) presided over to welcome and attended the MOU signing ceremony between Kasetsart University and the University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM), Indonesia. The delegations of the University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM), Indonesia consist of Dr. Fauzan, M.Pd, Rector of the University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM) Indonesia; Dr. Aris Winaya, Dean of Academic Affairs, Faculty of Agriculture and Animal Science; Ir. Henik Sukorini, M.P., Ph.D., Vice Dean; Dr. Ir. Mochamad Chanan, MP, Vice Dean and 11 heads of the Department of Agriculture and Animal Science.

On this occasion, Associate Professor Dr. Chamaipak Maiklad, Assistant to the President for International Affairs along with Assistant Professor Dr. Donludee Jaisut, Associate Dean for International Affairs, Faculty of Agriculture;

and personnel from the International Affairs Division welcomed delegates from the University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM), Indonesia on the occasion of their visit to Kasetsart University to sign an MOU.

Associate Professor Dr. Chamaipak Maiklad, Assistant to the President for International Affairs welcomed and congratulated today’s MOU signing ceremony between Kasetsart University and the University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM), Indonesia, hoping that the signing of an MOU’s today between the two universities would lead to building fruitful academic cooperation and creating mutual benefits for both sides. Then, Dr. Fauzan, M.Pd, Rector of the University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM) Indonesia expressed his gratitude and pleasure in signing the MOU between the two universities and then presented UMM information and an introduction video as well as mentioning UMM's Center of Excellence (COE), which has more than 40 centers. After the MOU signing ceremony, the delegation from the University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM), Republic of Indonesia visited the laboratories of the Faculty of Agriculture and the Faculty of Fisheries respectively before departure.

The University of Muhammadiyah Malang is one of the top private universities in Malang, Indonesia. It is ranked #551-600 in Asian University Rankings 2023. In summary, both sides are pleased to support the implementation of cooperation in the aforementioned academic and research exchange, the development of knowledge of personnel, and the promotion of the exchange of students and faculty members. Today’s signing of the MOU will lead to very close cooperation between KU and UMM, Indonesia shortly.
