On 20 July 2023, at the Office of Computer Services, Kasetsart University, Assistant Professor Dr. Nikhom Laemsak, Vice President for Innovation and Social Engagement Kasetsart University as a representative of Kasetsart University jointly signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Kasetsart University and Leave a Nest Singapore Pte. Ltd. led by Dr. MARU Yukihiro, founder and CEO of Leave a Nest Co., Ltd. along with Associate Professor Dr. Warapa Mahakarnchanakul, Director of Kasetsart University Research and Development Institute (KURDI) on behalf of the Project Leader of the KU-TAC Project and Mr. Shohei Michael Maekawa, Director of Leave a Nest Singapore Pte. Ltd. witnessed and participated the ceremony with the executives from both agencies.

Leave a Nest Singapore is a training and research company located in Singapore with an emphasis on scientific knowledge and technology. There is also student support available to young researchers and startups from around the world in Science and Technology Development which is consistent with the mission of the project KU-TAC which aims to bring Kasetsart University's in-depth research and technology to commercialization.

Under the said memorandum of understanding, the two sides have several important cooperation issues, such as joint training, and support for student incubation so that professors and researchers at Kasetsart University be able to bring their knowledge and expertise in deep research and technology to commercialization. The cooperation of both agencies will be beneficial in promoting and developing science and technology to commercialize creatively and sustainably.
