On July 11, 2023, at the Faculty of Veterinary Technology, Kasetsart University, Assistant Professor Ratchot Chompunich, Vice President for Student Affairs and Sustainable Development, together with Associate Professor Dr. Chamaipak Maiklad, Assistant to the President for International Affairs, Professor Dr. Sathaporn Jittapalpong, Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Technology as well as administrators, faculty members and staff welcomed Dr. Stéphane Blanc, Director, Institut écologie et environnement (INEE) du Centre national de la recherche scientifique (CNRS), and his associates from France on his visit to Kasetsart University. They visited a location for the International Research Laboratory “Health, Disease Ecology, Environment, and Policy” or shortly called “HealthDEEP” that is a close collaboration between the CNRS, Kasetsart University and Mahidol University. Professor Dr. Serge Morand, a CNRS researcher and an expert of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, initiated this Franco-Thai laboratory with support from the French government. It will be inaugurated on July 12, 2023 in Bangkok.
