International Affairs Division welcomes academic staff under the MERGING VOICES (MV)

On 10 July 2023, at 2.00 p.m., at the IAD meeting room on the 10fl of the Golden Jubilee Administration and Information Center Building at Kasetsart University, Associate Professor Dr. Chamaipak Maiklad, Assistant to the President for International Affairs, along with Miss Prattana Thirakiettikun, Head of the International Collaboration and Networking Section; and personnel of the International Affairs Division welcomed Assistant Professor José Fernando Morais Lopes Mariano จาก Faculty of Sciences and Technology, Universidade do Algarve (UAlg) and Professor Ana Lúcia Rebocho Lopes Pinto, the School of Life and Environmental Sciences, University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro (UTAD), Portugal.

 

Both professors were the selected candidates who received funding from the MERGING VOICES (MV) project, a project under the European Program Erasmus+ (International Credit Mobility) framework to visit Kasetsart University from 10 – 14 July 2023. Assistant Professor José Fernando Morais Lopes Mariano from the Faculty of Sciences and Technology, Universidade do Algarve (UAlg), and Professor Ana Lúcia Rebocho Lopes Pinto, the School of Life and Environmental Sciences, University of Trás-os- Montes and Alto Douro (UTAD), are scholarship recipients under the MERGING VOICES (MV) 2020, a program under the European Program Erasmus+ (International Credit Mobility) framework that supports mobility between faculty, staff, and students from institutions in Portugal, 4 institutions and educational institutions in the network from 26 countries to promote knowledge transfer and create good practices together which is conducive to social development, economy and culture in world society. Both traveled to participate in various activities as Academic Staff Mobility at Kasetsart University during 10 – 14 July 2023.

 

On this occasion, Associate Professor Dr. Chamaipak Maiklad, Assistant to the President for International Affairs welcomed and had a fruitful discussion on various cooperation topics such as exchanges of personnel and students such as scholarships and research funds, seminars, workshops, and courses, previously Kasetsart University organized an activity related to Thailand and the Portuguese Republic’s past relationship in terms of language, culture, food and desserts, drama. Later, Associate Professor Dr. Chamaipak Maiklad, Assistant to the President for International Relations presented the souvenir and took group photos.
