On June 28, 2023, Dr. Andras Molnar,
Second Secretary and Consul, the Embassy of Hungary
in Bangkok, along with the representatives of the Eurasia Center, the John von
Neumann University, Hungary, namely Dr. Levente Horváth,
Director and Dr. Péter Klemensits, Head of Research visit
Kasetsart University. They
have a fruitful discussion with Associate Professor Dr. Kampanat
Pensupar, Vice President for International Affairs and administrative members
of Kasetsart University, namely Associate Professor Dr. Chamaipak
Maiklad, Assistant to the President for International Affairs, Assistant
Professor Dr. Nadhawee Bunnag, Associate Dean for
International Relations, the Faculty of Social Sciences,
Associate Professor Dr. Kulapa Kuldilok, Associate Dean
for Administrative Affairs and Organization Development and Assistant Professor Dr. Chayan
Pipoblabanan, Associate Department Head for Academic and International Affairs,
the Faculty of Economics on the possible collaborations such as joint research
and publications in the fields of international relations, foreign and economic
policies of ASEAN. At
present, the Eurasia Center publishes several
publications, including the biweekly magazine, scientific journal, book series
and collections of scientific studies concerning the
region. Moreover, all parties agree to initiate activities
that offer opportunities for faculty, researchers and scholars of both Thailand
and Hungary to join hands and engage together, for instance, short-term and long-term exchange, invitation of
visiting professors and guest lecturers, participation in international
symposia, conference, seminar, etc. In celebration of the 50th
anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Thailand and
Hungary, they also decide to organize
events promoting Thai and Hungarian languages, arts and cultures in Kasetsart
University that will encourage more student involvement.

of 3 other institutions, John von Neumann University is one of the largest universities in the southern part of Hungary. The University has a cluster of excellence in the fields of
Engineering, Agriculture, IT, and Business & Economics.
The Eurasia Center of the John
von Neumann University is one of the most outstanding
centers in Hungary for the scientific study of the Eurasian region with a
geopolitical approach. The center's research focuses on
the geopolitical, economic and social issues of the world's largest region.
