On February 24–25, 2025, representatives from the International Affairs Division led by Mrs. Hathaitus Semchuchot, Acting Director of the International Affairs Division; Mrs. Achiraya Nunes Galante, Foreign Relations Officer, Professional Level, Information and International Communication Section; and Miss Methawee Sarnkong, Foreign Relations Officer, Operational Level, Information and International Communication Section, participated in the ASEAN Universities Exhibition and Forum 2025 (AEF2025) at the Grand Lagoon Ballroom, Sunway Resort Hotel, Malaysia.

AEF2025 was supported by Malaysia’s ASEAN Chairmanship 2025, Education Malaysia Global Services (EMGS), and the Ministry of Higher Education (MoHE). The event aimed to showcase the academic excellence of ASEAN higher education institutions, promote innovation, and strengthen international collaboration within the ASEAN region. In addition to AEF2025, the event also featured innovation showcases and competitions for students participating in the ASEAN Student Mobility Programme. This year, 3 KU students participated in the event—2 from the Faculty of Education and 1 from the Faculty of Business Administration.

At the exhibition, representatives from the International Affairs Division promoted KU’s international programs to international students participating in the ASEAN Student Mobility Programme. They also engaged in discussions with representatives from various higher education institutions at the event to further expand KU’s international network.
