On 26 February
2025, from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM, the International Affairs of the Faculty of
Humanities, in collaboration with the International Affairs Division of
Kasetsart University, organized a seminar on “Cross-Cultural Adjustment” at the
Meeting and Music Performance Room, 2nd floor, Chulabhorn Pisalsilp Building,
Faculty of Humanities.
For this
seminar, the faculty invited three speakers with extensive experience in
adapting to different cultures while traveling both domestically and
internationally:

Thayat
Detsethian (Nang Pha Pai program, ThaiPBS)
Pisan
Saengchan (Nang Pha Pai program, ThaiPBS)
The event
was moderated by Asst. Prof. Dr. Korakit Choomgrant, Deputy Dean for
International Affairs and Educational Development at the Faculty of Social
Sciences, Kasetsart University.
The
seminar featured three main sessions:
🔹 Session 1: Showcase
The three
speakers presented their experiences through YouTube clips and shared real-life
stories highlighting cultural differences and how they adapted to unexpected
situations.
🔹 Session 2: Q&A on
“Content Creation and Cultural Differences”
Key
discussion topics included:

Preparing for travel to culturally diverse
destinations
·
Handling content that does not meet initial
expectations
·
Managing “sensitive cultural issues” in content
creation
·
Navigating audience reactions on social media
·
Advice for students interested in creating travel
and cultural content
During
this session, student representatives from the Faculty of Humanities who are
YouTubers or TikTokers also shared their experiences in creating content
related to cultural differences.
🔹 Session 3: Open Q&A
Participants
had the opportunity to ask questions and engage in discussions with the three
speakers.
