On 25 February 2025, Kasetsart
University welcomed a delegation from the Kyoto University ASEAN Center to
discuss academic collaboration. The meeting took place from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m.
in Room 6, 2nd floor, Kasetsart Golden Jubilee Administration and Information
Center Kasetsart University.

The Kyoto University ASEAN Center
delegation was led by Prof. Eiji Nawata, Director, along with other key representatives
namely Ms. Kanako Miyabayashi, Deputy Director, Kyoto University ASEAN Center;
Mr. Takuya Sato, Deputy Director, Kyoto University ASEAN Center; Ms. Mika
Oshima, International Student Division, Kyoto University; Ms. Miuki Shimizu,
International Education and Student Mobility Division, Kyoto University; Ms.
Yuri Iida, International Education and Student Mobility Division, Kyoto
University; and Ms. Siwaporn Chousorn, Local staff, Kyoto University ASEAN
Center. On this occasion, Associate Professor Dr. Kornsorn Srikulnath,
Assistant to the President for Research and Internationalization at Kasetsart
University, extended a warm welcome to the delegation from Kyoto University. He
was joined by Ms. Pratthana Thirakiettikun, Head of the International
Collaboration and Networking Section; Mrs. Neeracha Kalantakasuwan, Head of the
International Scholarships and Opportunities Section; Mrs. Rattama Chaivaiprib,
Head of the Administration and International Strategies Section; along with
staff from the International Affairs Division. The meeting focused on
strengthening academic collaboration, student exchange opportunities, and
future cooperation between the two institutions.

Simultaneously, the Kyoto
University ASEAN Center hosted the "Student Fair: Exchange and Study
Programs at Kyoto University" at the Thira Sutabutra Auditorium, 2nd Floor
of the same building. The fair commenced at 2:30 p.m., providing Kasetsart
University students with valuable insights into exchange and study opportunities
at Kyoto University. The event aimed to promote student mobility and academic
engagement, allowing students to interact directly with Kyoto University
representatives. The exhibition attracted nearly 150 Kasetsart University
students from various faculties, highlighting their strong interest in exchange
and study programs at Kyoto University.

Following the student fair, the
Kyoto University delegation took a campus tour and visited the Krissana
International Dormitory from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. This visit further reinforced
the academic relationship between Kasetsart University and Kyoto University,
fostering opportunities for future collaboration.
