On 21 February
2025, the Faculty of Engineering held a certificate presentation ceremony for
participants of the 3rd Multi-international Workshop for Engineering Students.
The event was honored by the presence of HE Mrs. Millicent Cruz-Paredes,
Ambassador of the Republic of the Philippines to Thailand; Dr. Damrong
Sripraram, Acting President of Kasetsart University; Assoc. Prof. Gulapar
Srisawasdi, Director of Sirindhorn School of Prosthetics and Orthotics (SSPO);
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Apisit Songsasen, Vice President for Academic Affairs and
Lifelong Learning; Asst. Prof. Dr. rer. soc. Supapatpimol Simlee, Assistant to
the President for International Affairs; and Prof. Dr. Wanchai Yodsudjai, Dean
of the Faculty of Engineering. These distinguished guests attended the ceremony
and presented certificates to the workshop participants in a formal event held
at the 4th-floor conference room of the Department of Mechanical Engineering
Building (Building 5).

The 3rd
Multi-international Workshop for Engineering Students in Thailand took place
from February 15–21, 2025, bringing together 130 faculty members and students
from leading educational institutions across eight countries, including:

students from the Faculty of Engineering at Kasetsart University participated,
including those from the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Department of
Environmental Engineering, Department of Aerospace Engineering, and Department
of Chemical Engineering.

The workshop
featured various activities, including a poster session where students
presented academic research conducted at their home institutions, international
group collaborations for knowledge exchange and experience sharing, and design
and prototyping of medical devices in partnership with the Sirindhorn School of
Prosthetics and Orthotics, Mahidol University. Each student group presented
their design concepts and tested the functionality of their engineered devices.

Furthermore,
the program included industrial site visits and cultural exchange activities,
such as Thai cooking classes and a cultural excursion to Ayutthaya, providing
participants with a well-rounded educational and cross-cultural experience.
