Ye, Deputy Director, Office of International Cooperation and Exchange on the
occasion of official visiting Kasetsart University.

Representing Kasetsart University
on behalf of the President Dr. Chongrak Wachhrinrat, Associate Professor Dr.
Chamaipak Maiklad, Assistant to the President for International Affairs, warmly
welcomed the delegation from Northwest A&F University, China, and expressed
delight in supporting the development of educational collaboration between the
two universities. Following her remarks, Professor Liu Tianjun, Vice President
of NWAFU, expressed gratitude for the warm reception and appreciated the
opportunity to engage with faculty members from Kasetsart University to discuss
collaborations in disciplines of mutual interest. Professor Liu also provided a
broad overview of NWAFU, including future plans for the official visit of
Professor Pute Wu, President of Northwest A&F University, scheduled for
December, to further explore and formalize collaboration.

This visit was arranged following
coordination between the administrators of Northwest A&F University and the
Acting Dean of Kasetsart University International College to explore joint
academic activities, building upon the Memorandum of Understanding signed in
May 2024, marking a commitment to develop collaborative activities. Significant
topics discussed with Kasetsart University's key faculty members from the
Faculty of Agriculture, Faculty of Forestry, Faculty of Science, Faculty of
Fisheries, Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Economics, and Faculty of
Humanities included: student and faculty exchanges and motilities; scholarships
and funding; Joint academic programs such as Double, Dual, and Joint Degree
programs; language and cultural exchange programs; research collaborations in
agricultural and environmental sciences including joint research in other
fields of mutual interest, Joint publication of academic journals; international
academic conferences as well as Bilateral conferences, etc.

This discussion marks an
important step in strengthening the relationship between Kasetsart University
and Northwest A&F University and serves as a foundation for sustainable
future collaboration. To commemorate the visit, Associate Professor Dr.
Chamaipak Maiglad presented a token of appreciation to the Northwest A&F
University delegation, symbolizing the friendship between the two institutions,
followed by a group photograph.
