The KU Summer Camp
2024 took place from April 21st to 27th, 2024, hosted by Kasetsart University
in Bangkhen Campus and in Chathaburi province. Associate Professor Dr. Kampanat
Pensupar, Vice President for International Affairs, had the honor of delivering
the welcoming remarks as the chairman of the event. Joined by administrators
and lecturers, including Assistant Professor Dr.rer.Soc Supapatpimol Simlee,
Assistant to the President for International Affairs, and Assistant Professor
Dr. Jitsopin Meeraket, Assistant to the President, the faculty warmly welcomed
43 participants from Hungary, Italy, Poland, China, Japan, Malaysia, Myanmar,
Cambodia, Vietnam, and Thailand who attended the KU Summer Camp 2024, organized
by the International Affairs Division (IAD) of Kasetsart University.
Throughout the
event, participants engaged in various academic activities, such as 'Let’s
Break the Ice' to foster camaraderie, 'Thai Communication,' visits to KU
Library, KU Hall of Frame, and KU Premium Place, as well as activities like
making garlands, attending a session on Sustainable Economy Theory, Thai
Cooking Classes, and visiting SAM-SUN Inter Fresh Company, a Durian Exporter in
Chanthaburi province. The agenda also included group presentations, traditional
performances from each country, and concluded with a farewell party. Kasetsart
University facilitated academic collaboration with all 43 participants, leaving
a lasting impression.
Expressing interest
in continued academic collaboration, the participants expressed their desire
for Kasetsart University to host similar events in the future. Administrators
and lecturers at KU pledged their support for organizing such activities to
enhance international relations and showcase traditional arts. In closing,
Associate Professor Dr. Kampanat Pensupar, Vice President for International Affairs,
presented souvenirs and certificates to all 43 participants, marking the
successful conclusion of the KU Summer Camp 2024.
