On 21 June 2023 at 10.00 a.m., in meeting room 9 on the 2nd floor of the Golden Jubilee Administration and Information Center Building, Kasetsart University. Dr. Chongrak Wachrinrat, President of Kasetsart University presided over to welcome and attended the MOU signing ceremony between Kasetsart University and Young San University (Y’sU), Republic of Korea. On this occasion, Dr. Chongrak Wachrinrat, President of Kasetsart University along with executives and faculty members of Kasetsart University, consisting of Associate Professor Dr. Chamaipak Maiklad, Assistant to the President for International Affairs; Dr. Amporn Sriyaphai, Dean of the Faculty of Sports Science at Kamphaeng Saen Campus; Assistant Professor Dr. Siriporn Sasimontonkul, Faculty of Sports Science Kamphaeng Saen Campus; Dr. Chatchai Choi, Acting Director of KU Taekwondo Academy; Captain Chanatip Sonkham Deputy Director, KU Taekwondo Academy; Dr. Sarayut Noikasem, Deputy Dean for Corporate Communication and Student Development, Faculty of Sports Science      Kamphaeng Saen Campus; personnel of Faculty of Sports Science Kamphaeng Saen Campus; Miss Prattana Thirakiettikun, Head of the International Collaboration and Networking Section; and personnel from the International Affairs Division welcomed the delegation from Young San University (Y'sU) on the occasion of their visit to Kasetsart University to sign an MOU.

Dr. Chongrak Wachrinrat, President of Kasetsart University welcomed and congratulated today’s MOU signing ceremony between Kasetsart University and Young San University (Y’sU), Republic of Korea, hoping that the signing of an MOU’s today between the two universities would lead to building fruitful academic cooperation and creating mutual benefits for both sides. Then, Dr. Bu, Gu-Wuck, President expressed his gratitude and pleasure in signing the MOU between the two universities and then presented Young San University (Y'sU) information and an introduction video.

In this regard, Kasetsart University Taekwondo Academy is the main coordinator with Young San University administrators in this collaboration with Kasetsart University. The signing of this MOU will lead to the promotion of joint education and research projects especially in the field of sports science. After the cooperation signing ceremony, the meeting discussed future cooperation activities between Kasetsart University and Young San University (Y'sU), Republic of Korea, such as undergraduate and graduate student exchanges, exchange of faculty staff in teaching and joint research, internship, Joint Degree Program Module in Taekwondo, Short Courses or Non-Degree Certificate, and collaboration in academic conferences, etc.

In summary, both sides are pleased to support the implementation of cooperation in the aforementioned with the Faculty of Sports Science, especially of KU Taekwondo Academy in academic and research exchange, development of knowledge of personnel, and promoting the exchange of students and faculty members. Today’s signing of the MOU will lead to very close cooperation between KU and Young San University (Y'sU), the Republic of Korea shortly.

Young San University is a private university in southeastern South Korea. It operates a main campus in Young San City, South Gyeongsang province, a branch campus in nearby Busan, and an "auxiliary learning center" in Seoul. Young San University offers undergraduate degrees in various practical fields, including international studies, law, Asian business, and information engineering. It also offers graduate degrees in legal affairs, hotel tourism management, information technology, real estate, and teaching English as a foreign language.
