On 22 –
26 May 2023, the International Affairs Division at Kasetsart University welcomed
and participated in activities for support and academic assistance personnel
from the Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember, Republic of Indonesia, totaling 4
persons as follows:

Student Affairs
2. Ms.
Kartika Dwi Yuniavita Rahmawati Postgraduate Study Program Academic
Administrative Staff, Department of Informatics
3. Ms.
Ira Puspaningtyas Laboratory Technician, Department of Biology
4. Mr.
Rizky Dwi Putra Staff for Finance, Department of Ocean Engineering
All
personnel participated in activities under the non-academic staff mobility program
which aims to provide opportunities for academic support personnel to learn, exchange
knowledge and experiences, enhance skills and abilities as well as promote
cooperation activities between the two universities at Kasetsart University at Bangkhen
Campus with activities consisting of:
On 23 May 2023, Ms. Araya Bijaphala, the Director
of the International Affairs Division, along with Mrs. Rattama Chaivaiprib, Foreign
Relations Officer, Professional Level (Head of Section), and personnel of the International
Affairs Division participated in welcoming and exchanging various cooperation
activities such as the process of recruiting exchange students and discussed
the possibility of joint academic activities between the two universities.
Later, the Director of the International Affairs Division led the delegation made
a tour around the IAD Office to learn about the working environment of the
International Affairs Division, and also gave additional information about the
working flow of each department within the International Affairs Division.
In the
afternoon, a delegation visited KU Main Library to study the working process of
borrowing and returning books and facilities and services within the library that
are available for students and staff. After that, they were taken to learn more
history, people, and important events of Kasetsart University at Kasetsart
University Hall of History.
On 24 May 2023, from 9:00 to 10:50 a.m., personnel from the Student Affairs Division welcomed the delegation and exchanged work details, such as work in student care affairs, student activities promotion, funding, and welfare work, as well as taking a tour of the KU Happy Place Center.
Later, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, Associate Professor Dr. Wanwipa Vongsangnak, Assistant to the President and Deputy Director of Kasetsart University International College (KUIC) along with KUIC personnel welcomed a delegation from ITS and provided information about the operation and discussed the programs offered in international programs of Kasetsart University such as bachelor's degree programs, Entrepreneurial Economics (EEBA), International Undergraduate Program (IUP) at the Faculty of Engineering, Tropical Agriculture Program at the Faculty of Agriculture, International Program at the Faculty of Humanities, the Faculty of Business Administration and the Faculty of Science.
Later,
from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m., Dr. Withawat
Tangtrongpairoj, Assistant IT Director of the Office of Computer Services, along
with the OCS personnel welcomed and exchanged information about the
infrastructure and operation of digital systems and information systems and
took a delegation to visit the Office of Computer Services (OCS).
From 2:30 to 3:00 p.m., Assistant Professor Dr. Wanwisa Siriwan along with personnel from the Faculty of Agriculture welcomed the ITS delegation and provided information about the Faculty of Agriculture Smart Greenhouse.
On 25 May 2023, Assistant Professor Dr. Nattasamon Petchsang, Assistant Dean for Research and International Affairs, and Mr. Rattapan Trongwiwat, Head of International Relations and Global Affairs together with personnel from the Faculty of Science welcomed and discussed the possibility of academic cooperation and research with the Faculty of Science and the Department of Biology.
In the
afternoon of that day, the ITS delegation visited the
Grand Palace and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha to study Thai history and
culture.
