KU welcome the delegation from the Embassy of Japan

On Wednesday 6th October 2021, at 2.00 P.M., in the IAD meeting room on the 10th floor of the Golden Jubilee Administration and Information Center Building, Kasetsart University. Assistant Professor Dr. Kampanat PENSUPAR, Vice President for International Affairs along with Associate Professor Dr. Nuanwan SOONTHORNPHISAJ, Assistant to the President for Academic Affairs, and Miss Araya BIJAPHALA, Director of International Affairs Division welcomed the delegation from the Embassy of Japan in Thailand led by Mrs. Hiroko MATSUO, Attaché, and coordinators; on the occasion of visiting Kasetsart University.

The purpose of this visit was to discuss and preparing for the upcoming official visit from the Embassy of Japan in Thailand at the end of November 2021. Hence, Assistant Professor Dr. Kampanat PENSUPAR gave welcoming remarks and overview information about the healthy relationship between Kasetsart University and many institutes from Japan through lots of projects, curriculums, and activities over the years. In this sense, Japan stands as a top destination for KU students both in terms of study and job opportunity, especially in engineering. Moreover, Mrs. Hiroko MATSUO is also interested in the Smart Farming / Agriculture program and the Kasetsart University Business Incubation Center (KU-BIC), both potentially to be developed into a new kind of collaboration under the support from the embassy.

Later on, Mrs. Hiroko MATSUO also visit the Faculty of Science and the Faculty of Agriculture, both provided useful information for the upcoming official visit in November 2021.
