On Thursday 29th April 2021 at 9.30 AM., in the IAD meeting room on the 10th floor of the Golden Jubilee Administration and Information Center Building, Kasetsart University. Assistant Professor Dr. Kampanat PENSUPAR, Vice President for International Affairs chaired an online session via Cisco WebeX entitled “The Internationalization of Kasetsart University’s committee meeting 1/2012” along with Associate Professor Dr. Chamaipak TAYJASANANT, Assistant to the President, Miss Araya BIJAPHALA, Director of International Affairs Division, and IAD personnel as secretary of this event. With a total amount of 78 participants, this meeting comprised various representatives from many Faculties, Institutes, and divisions within Kasetsart University.
Hence, the meeting divided into 5 main topics focusing on the International Affairs and World Ranking of Kasetsart University, which elaborated by two honorable guests namely Associate Professor Dr. Sutkhet NAKASATHIEN, Vice President for Research and Creation who gave a speech on “Reinventing University”, and Associate Professor Dr. Chatchapol CHUNGCHOO, Vice President for Quality Development who gave a speech on “Kasetsart University’s World Ranking”
Furthermore, the secretary of this meeting also delivered crucial information on the Inbound student measures during the COVID-19 pandemic, which Kasetsart University support the expense of Alternative State Quarantine (ASQ) for all foreign students with the highest amount of 15,000 Bart / person. Also, The International Affairs Division will support an online or hybrid international seminar held by Faculties, Institutes, or Divisions within Kasetsart University for the maximum of 50,000 Bart / project.
Moreover, this meeting also opens for discussion with the topic related to the Internationalization of Kasetsart University, which representatives from various faculties such as the Faculty of Education, Faculty of Social Sciences, Faculty of Agro-Industry, Institute of Food Research and Product, etc. joined and shared many ideas. Nevertheless, the chairperson of this committee meeting also depicted that all information and ideas will be synchronized and develop into a tangible policy to uplift international affairs and the university’s world ranking in the future.
