On Friday 13th September 2019 at 10.00 am., in EC5205 meeting room on the 2nd floor of Economic Laboratory Building. Dr. Chongrak WACHRINRAT, Acting President of Kasetsart University presided over the closing ceremony of KU – Kyoto Short-term exchange program 2019, with a closing remark depicted the strong relationship between two universities through the years. This event also accompanied by Professor Eiji NAWATA, Director of Kyoto University ASEAN Center, Professor Mamoru KANZAKI, Graduate School of Agriculture, and many more Kasetsart University lecturers.
Furthermore, 16 Japanese students who attended this program also conducted a group presentation with interesting topics such as 1. Flower in Japan and Thailand, focusing on the difference in usage and cultural aspect of flower 2. Genetic Diversity of Traditional Foods, emphasizing on the genetic diversity of Thai Nutto and Japanese Sake 3. Relationship between Animal-Human, comparative research on how Thai/Japanese people dealing with animals in everyday life and 4. Convenience Store in Thailand and Japan depicted the market share and popular product in both countries.
Later on, Associate Professor Dr. Vijitsri SANGUANWONGSE, Dean of Faculty of Economic presented a certification of participation to all Japanese students who attended, and ending this wonderful event with a lunch hosted by Faculty of Economic.
