“The Writing Project: How to Write Better English” 2019

  The International Affairs Division of Kasetsart University organized the Writing Project: How to Write Better English on the topic “Writing English letters and emails for international affairs” on Thursday 11 July 2019, from 9.00 to 12.00 am. Associate Professor Dr. Chamaipak TAYJASANANT, Acting Assistant to the President, presided over to welcome all of participants and to deliver a lecture as an honorable guest lecturer.

  The purpose of this project aims to improve writing skills in English by developing the use of “Writing English letters and emails for international affairs” of participants including students, faculty & staff members of Kasetsart University. In this course participants has gained an understanding of the writing principles and language usage in official writing. For example, Conceptualizing “international affairs”, Differences between emails and letters, Language note for letter and email writing, Emails and Letters for international affairs, Examples and Practice. The course has achieved its objective and success. There are over 70 participants from various faculties and divisions either inside or outside Kasetsart University attended this lecture, and returned very positive feedbacks. Many shared comments that the content is extremely interesting and help improve their English writing skills.
