Award of Scholarships to Students from Thailand for Academic Year 2019-20

The Indian Council for Cultural Relations of Government of India is offering scholarships to Thai nationals for studying in India during the academic year 2019-20. The scholarships are available for pursuing Under-Graduate, Post Graduate courses as well as for undertaking Research Ph.D.) in various fields, excluding courses on Medicine, Paramedical (Nursing1Physiotherapy1 Anesthesia, etc.) and Fashion courses in Indian universities.

Interested candidates can submit their applications through the scholarship portal http://a2ascholarships.iccr.gov.in/home/scheme

The interested candidates should be proficient in English, as the medium of instruction would be English. lt may be noted that the candidates applying for Ph.D. courses would be required to submit a synopsis of the proposed area of research. Also, the candidates wishing to study performing arts need to enclose Video1Audio clip of their recorded performances. They may also note that it is compulsory for all ICCR sponsored students to stay inside allocated hostel. No student will be allowed to stay in private accommodation.

In addition, the interested candidates are advised to exercise due diligence and research on the specific admission criteria laid down by various Universities for each subject, and ensure that they submit all relevant documentation as required by the Universities in addition to the basic certificates mentioned in the application portal. For this, they may refer to the concerned universities’ websites for eligibility criteria.
